How changing your default browser can impact your carbon footprint

Jed Anderson • Nov 27, 2022

In an era where everything -- from driving to work to chomping down on a juicy hamburger -- seems to contribute to climate change, decreasing our carbon footprint can feel like a daunting task.

But living sustainably doesn’t need to cost you an arm and a leg.

In fact, Enviro.AI has set out to help you offset carbon with the click of a button. All you have to do is search the internet.

Tundra is an environmental search engine that offsets a kilogram of carbon for every internet search that you make. With the money generated using ad revenue, Enviro.AI writes the B-Carbon Institute a check to offset carbon for their users' searches. Enviro.AI released Tundra in 2021 and this year it’s gotten a makeover. Now users can compete with others from around the globe to see who has offset the most carbon via the new Climate Leaderboard.

You can make Tundra your default search engine in seconds! Download the free extension for your internet browser in just three easy steps!

  2. Click “Add to Chrome” on the right side of the screen.
